Weathermax HBR is a locally developed, high build recoatable polyurethane coating designed primarily for brush and roller application. It is suitable for use over a wide range of properly prepared and primed substrates, including mild steel, galvanised steel, concrete, and aluminium.
The product has been independently assessed under APAS 2911/1, 1441/2 and 1441/3, confirming compliance on certified systems. It also holds certification to AS/NZS 1530.3:1999 for fire performance on approved systems and substrates.
When applied as part of a system with Durebild STE, Weathermax HBR has been tested in accordance with AS/NZS 3750.6 and AS4548.5 Appendix C & D for use as a concrete anti-carbonation coating. It is compliant with Paint Reference Number C26 of AS2312.1.
Weathermax HBR is a high performance protective coating suitable for use in severe industrial, marine, and high UV environments. It provides long-term gloss and colour retention and is ideal for infrastructure, commercial assets, and exposed structures.
The coating forms an effective barrier against graffiti and is resistant to repeated cleaning with most proprietary graffiti removal products.
