Atmospheric air naturally contains impurities such as dust, hydrocarbons and moisture. When this air is drawn into a compressor, these contaminants are compressed and delivered into the air line along with oil particles. As they interact, they can form abrasive and corrosive emulsions that damage pipework, pneumatic equipment and the end product.
Pneumatech G-Range Coalescing Filters provide reliable general-purpose air protection by removing solid particles, liquid water and oil aerosols with a total mass efficiency of 99%. For optimum performance, the G filter should be installed downstream of a water separator.
